Tequila Tasting

Samantha brought her husband and their close group of friends down to Nashville to celebrate his 55th birthday. She surprised him with a private tequila tasting with his favorite tequila expert Lucas Assis! She then took him to Attaboy where they enjoyed custom-made cocktails and local, East Nashville delicacies. What a birthday celebration!

Workday Conference at Music City Center

Workday had their first conference in 3 years and chose the iconic Music City Center to have it. Most of the attendees work remotely so it was a great opportunity for the different departments of this company to get together, network, and share ideas. There were a ton of educational presentations, team-building exercises, and fun activities that definitely set the stage for some fun networking and bond-building.

VAS Connect 2022

VAS put on their yearly conference at Opryland Resort. Agriculturalists and Dairy Experts from all over the world converged on Nashville to learn about the industry’s latest trends, share ideas, and network. The conference ended with a boat cruise and dinner on the General Jackson from Opryland to Downtown!

After three long years of not being able to hold their event because of Covid, Booking.com, or Click 22, finally had their international conference at Music City Center in Downtown Nashville. Participants were able to listen to presentations about the latest issues in the hospitality industry and also attend an afterparty at The Stage on Broadway.

Valvoline Team-Building Event at John Rich's House

Valvoline had their international team-building event at John Rich’s house. It was a real treat for the guests to visit his house-he fed them delicious BBQ, gave them his famous Redneck Riviera whiskey, met everyone personally-some lucky guests even got to sit in his private studio and smoke a cigar with him!-and even gave a private performance. It was also the CEO’s birthday and John Rich made sure to sing him Happy Birthday on stage. Needless to say, the Valvoline team had an unforgettable visit to Nashville.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Assembly Food Hall in Downtown Nashville had a super-fun St. Patrick’s Day celebration on their fabulous rooftop called The Skydeck. The Skydeck has a phenomenal view of the city, with live entertainment and on this St. Patrick’s Day, Green beer! The client wanted to capture the festivities of the day’s celebration while portraying their fun and urban brand.

AutoDesk Team-Building Event

Autodesk, a global software company, had a team-building event in Nashville where they brought in team members from all over the world to be part in. They started off with team-building exercises at Opryland, a treasure hunt in Downtown Nashville, then ended the festivities at the Johnny Cash BBQ off of Broadway where they learned how to line dance, had the opportunity to take part in a whiskey tasting, and even see a magician perform. I would say the team at Autodesk had a great time in Nashville!

Waterstone Mortgage Annual Meeting

Waterstone Mortgage had their annual meeting. Team Members from all over the country converged on the Country Music Hall of Fame dressed to the nines for an awards ceremony and to celebrate a great year of success!

Homebuilders Association of Tennessee (HBAT) Yearly Banquet

The Homebuilders Association of Tennessee had their yearly banquet at the illustrious Hyatt Hotel. They needed headshots of their executives as well as coverage of their event, so we killed two birds with one stone! I set up a headshot station in the corner of the banquet where the executives could come and get their headshots. When I wasn’t shooting these portraits, I was photographing the event. Five Amazing Locations in Nashville (And Beyond) to Have a Photo Shoot

Whether you are trying to decide on a location to have your professional photography shoot or just shooting some photos on your phone with friends, Nashville is full of great places to have your photo shoot.

Nashville Pedestrian Bridge

Nowhere says Nashville like the Pedestrian Bridge in downtown. You get a great view of the skyline in your photos and you can even go below the bridge to Cumberland Park to get some great nature shots. Make sure to do your photo shoot early in the morning to get those stunning blue Nashville skies!

Broadway

Broadway captures the energy of traditional Nashville. Get your photos taken in front of Honky-tonks, on the street with bustling crowds in the background, there is even a statue of Elvis you can pose with! You can’t go wrong with the selection of places you can pose on Broadway.

War Memorial

The War Memorial in Downtown has all sorts of cool angles, arches and doorways to get super-creative photos in. Go there on a sunny day and make use of all the shadows that the columns throw off to get some great compositions!

Centennial Park has it all. Ponds, flowering trees, and of course the incredible Parthenon. This is a fantastic place to have a photo shoot.

Marathon Music Village

Sure, there is the iconic “I Believe in Nashville” sign, but there are so many other great photo opportunities there. Walk the grounds and you’ll find all sorts of photo opps-cool architecture, aging brick, and all sorts of urban treats, like this awesome old stairwell that I photographed this family in.

ATW Yearly Event on Broadway

ATW had their yearly event at the swank local of Ole Red on Broadway. Hundreds of people from all over the country filled the building and celebrated all night long. There was live music, yummy southern food, and even a raffle where some lucky individuals won trips to all sorts of exotic locations.
